We greet you, our loyal readers, for the last time this year with our newsletter lines, and hope you enjoy reading them again in December.
Firstly, a brief review and addendum to the event in November.
Our horse Argos, who was rescued 4 years ago in a very poor condition and has since recovered magnificently at Finca Noah, had to undergo emergency surgery in November. The severe colic, the lump in his stomach and the associated intestinal obstruction presented us with a very difficult decision.
Against the advice of a vet friend, we decided to have Argos operated on and give him a chance of another happy life. The vet costs were immense, but after almost two weeks of rehab, Argos was brought back to us in perfect health. We and his best friend Pablo, the donkey, are overjoyed to have made the right decision. One of the highlights of animal welfare with a happy ending.
We have had a really emotional, exhausting and exciting year, which has sometimes brought us to the brink of despair.
People like us who are passionate about animal welfare are often little stand-up guys. We give everything for the animals, so giving up and giving in is not an option for us. We have asked you, our loyal animal friends who have supported Animal Police so generously over the years, for financial help. Help to buy a new home for our 200+ animals that have currently found sanctuary at Finca Noah. We were overwhelmed, often moved to tears by the amount of heart and arrangement you put into helping us. For three months we have been urgently asking for help, for donations for the animals. We can proudly tell you that, thanks to you, we have raised an incredible CHF 300,000. You really are unbelievable, amazing, almost beyond words.
A huge thank you to the Salto family and team. The charity gala on 27 November 2024 focused on the animals, on Animal Police, the whole evening. Thank you for the huge opportunity.
In order to be able to buy the secure home with all the licences we need, we are still missing a whopping CHF 200,000.
Our animals have whispered to us that they have a wish for Christmas.....
Some would like a donation for a new home, others a sponsorship, and some are still looking for a family, a place on the sofa, a place to live or an adoption. Please fulfil a Christmas wish for these souls, some of whom have been rescued from terrible circumstances. We would love to see lots of happy and contented faces on Christmas Eve. Just write ANIMAL POLICE in capital letters on your Christmas wish list!
Thank you dear Father Christmas.

We don't have time to let the year 2024 fade away in peace. We are also on duty for the animals on public holidays, Christmas and New Year's Eve.
In the past few days we have taken in 5 new dogs at Finca Noah who would have been unloved and alone somewhere at Christmas. All of them are looking for a new home, we would be delighted if you would write to us if you are looking for an animal friend for life.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank all the people who actively support us, believe in us, give the animals a voice and help us with a donation to buy a safe home for the animals.
You are great. Every single one of you is helping us to get closer to our goal bit by bit.
We wish you and your families a wonderful, peaceful and stress-free festive season. Have a good start into the New Year 2025.
Above all, stay healthy.
Animal greetings from Finca Noah
