Animal Police Association: A refuge for animals in need

The Animal Police Association is more than just a charitable organisation - it is a place of hope and healing for animals that have suffered a difficult fate on the streets. Since its foundation in June 2018, the initiative has set itself the goal of giving stray, abandoned and injured animals a better life. It doesn't matter whether they are dogs, cats, sheep, horses, donkeys, ducks or even turtles - Animal Police helps every animal in need.

Their mission: love, protection and a new home

The organisation works tirelessly to give animals a new lease of life. Every animal that comes into the care of the Animal Police not only receives the urgently needed medical care, but also a large portion of love and care. After their recovery and rehabilitation, the animals are placed in loving homes where they can lead a life in dignity and safety.

Day after day, Farah and her volunteers do everything they can to get as many animals off the streets as possible and give them a second chance.

How it all began

Our encounter with Farah de Tomi: a story of animal welfare and friendship

Our love affair with Mallorca began in 2013, when we realised that the island, as beautiful as it is, had a sad side: the many dead animals on the roadside. It broke our hearts, but we didn't know how we could help. Nevertheless, we returned every year, again and again to the picturesque Cala d'Or.

Everything should change for us in 2021.

Farah de Tomi - A name that stays

We first heard about Farah de Tomi when she appeared on the programme "Adieu Home" was introduced. There we learned that she works tirelessly with her organisation on Mallorca to help animals in need. Even then, we were impressed by her dedication, but it wasn't until later that we made personal contact.

When we finally met Farah, she was exactly as we had imagined her - perhaps even more impressive. A reserved but kind-hearted woman who communicates with animals in a way that few people can. Her loving nature, her big heart and her tireless work for the animals of Mallorca touched us deeply.

Help that connects

From our first meeting, we knew that we wanted to support Farah's work. As a family, we made a donation and decided to get actively involved. Today, we are proud sponsors of three birds that have found a safe home in Farah's care. But that's not all: a cat that Farah rescued became part of our family - a little furry proof of the love she puts into her work.

Farah is now firmly part of our family. Her commitment has not only inspired us, but has also shown us how important it is to give something back. Whether through donations, sponsorships or simply through active support - we help wherever we can.

Why Farah's work is so important

Farah de Tomi and her organisation are a ray of hope on an island that for many is just a holiday idyll. She shows us the dark sides that we perhaps didn't want to see before and reminds us that it takes people like her to bring about real change.

We are grateful to have met Farah and even more grateful to be part of her story. Anyone who has the opportunity to support her and her work will quickly realise that it not only helps the animals - it also enriches their own lives.

Farah, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts for everything you do. You are not only a saviour of animals, but also an inspiration to us all. We love you.

How you can help

The Animal Police Association thrives on the support of animal-loving people. You can support the organisation in a variety of ways:

  • DonateEvery donation, whether large or small, helps to finance the medical care and accommodation of the animals.
  • VolunteeringHelp on site or remotely, be it with care, transport or administrative tasks.
  • AdoptionGive an animal a loving home and the chance of a new life.

The Animal Police Association shows how much compassion and commitment can achieve. Together we can ensure that no animal is left behind.
